Languedoc Inn and #3 Hussey Street Guest House are strategically located within Nantucket Town's Old Historic-District. Both properties posses the rich heritage of the guest house tradition, unique to Nantucket, dating back to to the mid nineteenth century where visitors would find accommodations offering warm hospitality and charming ambiance. The present ownership has stayed true to this philosophy for the past forty years and has retained the original architectural integrity of both properties built in the 1860's after the great fire.
Private and semi-private accommodations are available at both locations. We are only ten minutes from the Steamship Authority and Hyline Cruises ferry docks eliminating the need for an automobile. The Nantucket Whaling Museum is right down the street, Main Street is a short three blocks away and all beaches are conveniently accessible by foot, bike, or town shuttle.
Lanquedoc Bistro is a French American Bistro with innovative seasonal menus and the recipient of the Wine Spectators Award of Excellence for the last eighteen years. It is one of the many fine dining experiences you will find within a short walking distance of both properties. #3 Hussey is open year round and Lanquedoc is open from early April to late December.

Q. How can I pay?
A. Payment can be made using cash, check or ALL major credit cards.
Q. Do you offer beach towels and chairs?
A. We offer beach towels to ALL guests, however no beach chairs
Q. Do you have hair dryers?
A. Yes, hair dryers are located in ALL bathrooms
Q. What size beds do you offer?
A. Queen and Twin
Q. Are you close to the boat docks?
A. Yes, we are only 4 blocks away from the docks
Q. Do you have WIFI?
A. Yes, free WIFI is available at both locations.
Q. If I arrive earlier than expected or should, will I be able to check in?
A. Once the room is available then you are free to check in. If not, then feel free to leave your bags in the common area until the room is available.
Q. How far from the town are you located?
A. We are located in a historic district right in town.
Q. Do you allow smoking?
A. We do not allow smoking inside ANY of our inns.
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. If it is necessary to cancel the reservation, not if the office immediately by calling 508.228.4298.The uniqueness of Nantucket as an island requires a policy such as this. If the canceled period can be re rented, you will receive a refund less a cancellation fee of 20% of the stay (not exceeding $50.00). If the canceled period cannot be re rented, the entire deposit shall be forfeited
Q. Do I need to make a deposit when I book the room?
A. Yes a deposit is required at booking.
Q. Do you have a guest lounge?
A. We do not have a lounge but our guests can always feel free to relax in the common area or outside on the patio.
Q. Do you offer car parking?
A. No we do not, however street parking is available.
Q. What are your check out and check in times?
A. Check in is 3pm while check out is 11am.
Q. Do you allow pets?
A. Pets are only allowed at #3 Hussey Street in specific rooms.

Cancellation Policy: If it is necessary to cancel a reservation please notify the office immediately. The uniqueness of Nantucket as an island requires the following cancellation policy. If the canceled period can be re-rented a full refund less a cancellation fee of 20% of the stay will be charged not to exceed 50.00 dollars. If the canceled period cannot be re-rented, the entire deposit shall be forfeited.
